Description

This Easy Boursin Bruschetta Dip blends rich Boursin cheese with fresh tomatoes and basil for a delightful appetizer. Perfect for parties or a cozy night in, it’s a quick and flavorful option that everyone will love!


Ingredients

  • 2 packages (5.3 oz each) Boursin cheese
  • 11/2 cups chopped de-seeded tomatoes
  • 1/4 cup packed fresh basil leaves, chopped
  • 1 tablespoon extra virgin olive oil
  • 1 tablespoon balsamic vinegar
  • 1 clove garlic, pressed or minced
  • Salt to taste
  • Pepper to taste
  • Balsamic reduction (Alessi brand recommended)
  • Crackers or crostini for serving

Instructions

  1. Let the Boursin cheese sit at room temperature for 15-20 minutes to slightly soften.
  2. In a small bowl, combine chopped tomatoes, basil, olive oil, balsamic vinegar, garlic, salt, and pepper; stir well and let it sit for 5 minutes to draw out tomato juices.
  3. Transfer the softened Boursin cheese to a shallow serving dish and spread it evenly with the back of a spoon.
  4. Spoon the bruschetta mixture over the Boursin cheese, reserving the juices in the bowl.
  5. Drizzle balsamic reduction on top and garnish with additional basil leaves. Serve immediately with crackers or crostini.

Notes

For added flavor, use vine-ripened or Roma tomatoes.
Balsamic reduction can enhance the presentation and taste of the dip.
