Description

This Creamy Hot Honey Hummus is a delightful blend of chickpeas, garlic, and hot honey that creates an irresistible dip. Easy to make, this dish is the perfect addition to any gathering or as a quick snack for any time of the day. Enjoy the balance of sweetness and spice with each creamy bite!


Ingredients

  • 2 (14 ounce) cans chickpeas, drained and rinsed
  • 4 garlic cloves, minced
  • ⅔ cup tahini
  • ¼ cup hot honey, plus more for drizzling
  • ½ lemon, juiced
  • ½ teaspoon kosher salt
  • ½ teaspoon pepper
  • ¼ to ½ cup ice water
  • olive oil for drizzling

Instructions

  1. Reserve a few chickpeas to sprinkle on top of the finished hummus.
  2. In a food processor, add chickpeas, garlic, tahini, hot honey, lemon juice, salt, and pepper. Blend and pulse for 2 to 3 minutes, scraping down the sides to ensure everything is well mixed.
  3. While the processor is running, pour in the ice water and blend until the mixture is smooth and creamy. Adjust seasoning with more salt and pepper as needed, blending again.
  4. Spread the hummus in a serving bowl or plate, topping with the reserved chickpeas. Drizzle with olive oil and hot honey, then sprinkle with salt and pepper before serving.

Notes

For a smoky flavor, add a pinch of smoked paprika to the hummus before blending.
This hummus can be stored in an airtight container in the fridge for up to a week.
Serve with fresh vegetables, pita chips, or crackers for the perfect snack.
