Description

This Waldorf Salad combines crisp apples, crunchy celery, and sweet grapes with a creamy dressing. It’s a refreshing, easy dish perfect for gatherings or a light lunch.


Ingredients

  • 2 cups Apples, Diced
  • 1 tbsp Sugar
  • 2 tsp Lemon Juice
  • 1 cup Celery (Diced)
  • 1 cup Grapes (Halved)
  • 1/2 cup Pecan Halves (Roughly Chopped)
  • 1/2 cup Whipping Cream (Whipped)
  • 1/4 cup Mayonnaise
  • 1/4 tsp Salt

Instructions

  1. In a mixing bowl, combine diced apples with sugar and lemon juice, tossing to coat.
  2. Add diced celery, halved grapes, and the roughly chopped pecans, mixing well.
  3. In another bowl, whip the whipping cream until stiff peaks form, then gently fold in the mayonnaise until smooth.
  4. Combine the apple mixture with the whipped cream mixture and season with salt. Adjust to taste if necessary.
  5. Refrigerate for at least 1 hour or overnight to allow flavors to meld.

Notes

For added flavor, consider adding raisins or dried cranberries to the salad.
This salad can be served on a bed of lettuce for extra presentation.
Leftovers can be stored in the refrigerator for up to 3 days.
