Description

This Strawberry Heaven Dessert is a delightful mix of angel food cake, creamy pudding, and strawberry pie filling. It’s simple to prepare, irresistibly tasty, and perfect for gatherings or sweet cravings. Make it for a quick treat that everyone will love!


Ingredients

  • 1 (10 oz) angel food cake
  • 1 (3.4 oz) package instant vanilla pudding mix
  • 1 1/2 cups whole milk
  • 1 cup heavy whipping cream
  • 1 (21 oz) can strawberry pie filling
  • 1 (8 oz) container cool whip (thawed)
  • fresh strawberries, optional

Instructions

  1. Cut the angel food cake into cubes and set aside.
  2. In a large bowl, beat the instant vanilla pudding mix, whole milk, and heavy cream on low speed, gradually increasing the speed for 2 minutes until thickened.
  3. Arrange half of the angel food cake cubes evenly on the bottom of a 9 x 13 inch pan.
  4. Dollop about 2/3 of the strawberry pie filling over the angel food cake cubes.
  5. Spread the vanilla pudding mixture evenly over the filling.
  6. Add the remaining strawberry pie filling over the cake cubes.
  7. Spread the thawed Cool Whip evenly on top.
  8. Refrigerate for 3-4 hours before serving to chill.
  9. Garnish with fresh strawberries if desired.

Notes

For a lighter version, use reduced-fat Cool Whip.
Ensure the pudding mixture is well-beaten for the best consistency.
Feel free to add layers of fresh strawberries for added flavor.
