- 1 each chili in adobo sauce, seeds removed and minced
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
- 1 whole lime
Instructions
- Trim excess fat from the chicken breasts and place them in a freezer bag or between plastic wrap.
- Pound the chicken with a meat tenderizer, rolling pin, or mason jar to flatten it.
- Mix avocado oil, lime juice, garlic, brown sugar, chili powder, cumin, cayenne powder, and minced chili in a small bowl until well combined.
- Pour the marinade over the chicken, ensuring it's well coated.
- Refrigerate the marinated chicken for at least 2 hours, or up to 24 hours.
