Description

Experience the delightful flavors of Red, White, and Blue Tortilla Cups. This easy-to-make dessert combines crispy tortilla cups with sweet whipped cream and topped with vibrant fresh berries, perfect for any occasion!


Ingredients

  • 3 small flour tortillas
  • 2 tbsp. coconut oil melted
  • 1 tbsp. honey
  • 1 tsp. ground cinnamon
  • 1 cup whipping cream
  • 1/2 tsp. natural sweetener like Truvia
  • 1 tsp. vanilla
  • 1 cup fresh berries like blueberries, raspberries, and strawberries
  • 1 tbsp. cocoa powder (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 375 degrees Fahrenheit.
  2. Cut the tortillas into quarters using a pizza slicer.
  3. In a small bowl, combine the melted coconut oil and honey until well mixed.
  4. Brush each tortilla piece with the coconut oil mixture and sprinkle with ground cinnamon.
  5. Press three tortilla triangles into a muffin pan to shape them into cups.
  6. Bake the tortilla cups for 15 minutes, then let them cool after removing from the pan.
  7. In a mixing bowl, combine whipping cream, natural sweetener, and vanilla. Beat until soft peaks form.
  8. Spoon or pipe the whipped cream into each tortilla cup.
  9. Top the whipped cream with fresh berries of your choice.
  10. Sprinkle cocoa powder on top if desired.

Notes

Make sure to press the tortillas firmly into the muffin pan to maintain their shape while baking.
Feel free to experiment with different berry combinations for unique flavors.
Keep the whipped cream chilled until you’re ready to serve for the best texture.
