Description

This Red, White, and Blue Jello with Cream is a delightful and festive dessert that’s easy to prepare. With vibrant colors, rich flavors from heavy cream and gelatin, and topped with whipped cream, it’s perfect for parties or special celebrations.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 6 oz red gelatin (170g)
  • 6 oz blue gelatin (170g)
  • boiling water (amount as per gelatin box)
  • cold water (amount as per gelatin box)
  • 12 fl. oz heavy whipping cream (350ml)
  • 5 fl. oz sweetened condensed milk (150ml)
  • whipped cream (to taste)
  • Red, white, and blue sprinkles (for decoration)

Instructions

  1. Follow the directions on the back of the two gelatin boxes.
  2. Prepare both gelatin flavors and pour them into an 8×8 inch dish. Refrigerate for about 4 hours or until set.
  3. Cut squares from the set gelatin using a utility knife, making sure to cut vertically and horizontally.
  4. Carefully remove the squares without breaking them using a spoon or spatula.
  5. In 8 oz cups, place alternating gelatin squares at the bottom, pressing them against the walls to show colors.
  6. Pour about 1.5 tablespoons of heavy whipping cream on top and repeat the layering until the cups are full.
  7. Finish by decorating with whipped cream and sprinkles.

Notes

Using a Quickset method for the gelatin can speed up the setting time.
Make sure to let the gelatin layers set completely for the best presentation.
Feel free to customize the sprinkles or toppings to match your celebration.
