Description

These Prosciutto Wrapped Figs combine sweet figs, savory prosciutto, and creamy gorgonzola for a delightful bite-sized treat. Perfect for gatherings or a quick snack!

Ingredients

Scale
  • 6 large figs, cut in half
  • 6 slices prosciutto, cut in half lengthwise
  • 4 tablespoons gorgonzola cheese
  • 4 tablespoons honey

Instructions

  1. Wash and dry the figs, cut off the stems, and slice them in half.
  2. Arrange the fig halves cut side up on a flat surface or cutting board.
  3. Place about 1/2 tablespoon of gorgonzola cheese on each fig half.
  4. Wrap a slice of prosciutto around each fig, covering the cheese completely.
  5. Transfer the wrapped figs to a serving platter and drizzle honey on top.

Notes

Ensure the figs are ripe for the best flavor.
You can substitute gorgonzola cheese with goat cheese if preferred.
This dish can be served warm or at room temperature.
