- 4 cups fresh peach slices peeled
- 1/2 cup granulated sugar
- 1/4 cup brown sugar

- 6 tbsp unsalted butter melted
- 1 cup all purpose flour
- 1 cup granulated sugar
- 2 tsp baking powder
- 1/4 tsp salt
- 3/4 cup milk
- 2 tbsp brown sugar
- 2 tsp cinnamon
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F and spray a 9×13 baking dish with nonstick spray.
- In a medium saucepan, combine the sliced peaches, granulated sugar, brown sugar, and a pinch of salt; cook over medium heat for about 3-4 minutes until the sugar melts and the mixture is warm.
- Pour the melted butter into the bottom of the prepared baking dish without stirring it in.
- In a mixing bowl, whisk together the flour, 1 cup of sugar, baking powder, salt, and milk until smooth; pour this into the pan over the butter without stirring.
- Spoon the peach mixture evenly over the batter, including some juice, then sprinkle with brown sugar and cinnamon.
- Bake for 38-42 minutes until the top is golden and bubbly around the edges.
- Allow to cool slightly before serving warm with vanilla ice cream.
Notes
Fresh peaches yield the best flavor; frozen can be used in a pinch.
Letting the cobbler cool for a few minutes will help it set and make serving easier.
