Description

Ingredients

  • 1 (10 to 12 ounce) ball pizza dough
  • 1½ tablespoons olive oil
  • ⅓ cup pizza sauce
  • ¾ cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • ¼ cup pepperoni slices
  • ¼ cup shredded parmesan cheese

Instructions

  1. Add the olive oil to a 10-inch cast-iron skillet and swirl it to coat the sides.
  2. Stretch or roll out the pizza dough into a 10-inch circle, then transfer it into the oiled skillet.
  3. Preheat the oven to 475℉.
  4. Allow the dough to sit in a warm area for 30 minutes, such as near the preheating oven.
  5. Spread the pizza sauce over the dough, leaving a ¼-inch border around the edges. Add mozzarella, pepperoni slices, and parmesan cheese on top.
  6. Bake the pizza for 15 to 20 minutes until it becomes crisp.

Notes

For a crispier crust, ensure the skillet is well oiled and preheated before adding the dough.
