Description

This Orange Creamsicle Pie is a delightful dessert with its creamy texture and refreshing flavor from mandarin oranges. It’s easy to make, requiring only a few ingredients such as orange jello and whipped cream, making it perfect for gatherings or a sweet treat at home.

  • 1 graham cracker crust
  • 15 ounces mandarin oranges, 1 can drained, juice reserved
  • 3.4 ounces orange jello mix
  • 12 ounces orange creamsicle yogurt, 2 containers
  • 8 ounces whipped cream plus more for topping, optional

Instructions

  1. In a large glass bowl, combine the orange gelatin and 1/4 cup of reserved mandarin orange juice. Microwave on high for 1 minute.
  2. Chill the gelatin mixture in the refrigerator for 10-15 minutes until slightly thickened.
  3. Whisk in the orange yogurt and Cool Whip until smooth. Carefully fold in 1/2 cup of chopped mandarin oranges.
  4. Pour the filling into the prepared graham cracker crust. Top with dollops of whipped cream and additional mandarin oranges.
  5. Refrigerate until set for about 4 hours, or for a frozen option, freeze for 2 hours.

Notes

For a richer flavor, allow the pie to rest overnight before serving.
Feel free to add a layer of chocolate on the bottom of the crust for an additional taste.
This pie can be made ahead of time and stored in the refrigerator.
