Description

This Million Dollar Baked Spaghetti is a crowd-pleaser featuring layered spaghetti, savory meats, and a blend of rich cheeses. Perfect for family dinners or gatherings, it combines flavor and simplicity in every bite.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 16 ounces dried spaghetti
  • 1 pound lean ground beef
  • 1 pound Italian sausage
  • 45 ounces spaghetti sauce
  • 8 ounces ricotta cheese
  • 4 ounces cream cheese, softened
  • 1/2 cup sour cream
  • 1 tablespoon Italian seasoning
  • 2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
  • freshly chopped parsley

Instructions

  1. Cook the spaghetti noodles to al dente according to package directions, then drain and set aside.
  2. In a skillet, brown the ground beef and Italian sausage over medium heat. Once cooked, drain excess fat, then mix with the spaghetti sauce.
  3. In a separate bowl, mix the ricotta cheese, softened cream cheese, sour cream, and Italian seasoning until smooth.
  4. Spread a thin layer of sauce at the bottom of a 9×13 casserole dish. Add half of the spaghetti noodles.
  5. Layer half of the meat sauce, half of the ricotta mixture, and half of the mozzarella cheese over the noodles. Repeat the layers with the remaining spaghetti, meat sauce, ricotta mixture, and mozzarella cheese.
  6. Bake in a preheated oven at 375°F for 40-45 minutes, or until edges are bubbly and casserole is heated through.
  7. Garnish with freshly chopped parsley and serve warm.

Notes

For extra flavor, add garlic to the meat while browning.
This dish can be prepared ahead of time and baked just before serving.
Store leftovers in the refrigerator for up to 3 days.
