- ⅓ cup olive oil or vegetable oil
- ¼ cup apple cider vinegar or red wine vinegar
- 3 tablespoons worcestershire sauce
- 2 tablespoons dijon mustard
- 2 tablespoons fresh lemon juice
- 2 tablespoons italian seasoning
- 2 teaspoons kosher salt or to taste
- 1 tablespoon black pepper
- 1 tablespoon granulated sugar
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 4 boneless skinless chicken breasts
Instructions
- In a bowl or freezer bag, combine all marinade ingredients. Add chicken and mix well to coat.
- Seal the chicken and marinate in the refrigerator for at least 30 minutes or up to 4 hours.
- Preheat the grill to medium-high heat.
- Take the chicken out of the marinade, allowing excess to drip off. Discard the remaining marinade.
- Grill the chicken for 7 to 8 minutes. Flip and cook for an additional 7 to 8 minutes, until reaching an internal temperature of 165°F.
- Transfer the chicken to a plate and let it rest for 3 to 5 minutes before slicing.
Notes
For extra flavor, marinate the chicken overnight.
