- 24 gummy worms
- 48 small halloween themed candies, candy pumpkins, bones, or cats
- 1/2 cup butter, room temperature
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 2–3 tablespoons milk
- 3½ cups powdered sugar
- 1/2 cup cocoa powder
Instructions
- Make chocolate cupcakes according to the package instructions and allow them to cool completely.
- Crush the Oreo cookies and set aside.
- In a mixing bowl, combine the butter and powdered sugar until smooth.
- Add cocoa powder, vanilla extract, and milk to the mixture and stir well until fluffy.
- Frost the cooled chocolate cupcakes with the frosting using a spatula or piping bag.
- Top each frosted cupcake with crushed Oreo cookies to resemble dirt.
- Place a Milano cookie in each cupcake to act as a tombstone.
- Decorate with gummy worms and Halloween-themed candies accordingly.
