Description

This Easy Honey Glaze for Ham combines sweet brown sugar, rich honey, and zesty orange juice for a mouthwatering and simple flavor boost. Perfect for special occasions and gatherings, this glaze makes any ham irresistible without the fuss.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 cup brown sugar
  • 1/2 cup honey
  • 1/2 cup orange juice
  • 1 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 1/2 teaspoon ground cloves
  • 1/8 teaspoon nutmeg

Instructions

  1. In a medium saucepan over medium heat, combine brown sugar, honey, orange juice, cinnamon, ground cloves, and nutmeg.
  2. Stir the mixture while bringing it to a rapid boil; boil for about 5 minutes.
  3. Remove the saucepan from the heat and allow the glaze to cool for a few minutes.
  4. Brush or drizzle the glaze over the ham about 20 minutes before it's done cooking.
  5. Return the ham to the oven uncovered and bake for an additional 20 minutes, or until the glaze is crispy and the ham reaches an internal temperature of 140 degrees F.

Notes

Ensure to brush the glaze generously on the ham for maximum flavor.
You can add a splash of lemon juice for extra zest if desired.
This glaze can be made ahead of time and stored in the refrigerator.
