This Caramelized Onion Dip features a rich blend of cream cheese, sour cream, and sweet caramelized onions. It’s easy to prepare, perfect for parties, and pairs well with chips or veggies for a delicious homemade snack.

- 1 (8-ounce) block full-fat cream cheese, room temperature
- 14 ounces (about 1 ¼ cups) sour cream
- 1 cup caramelized onions, room temperature
- 1 tablespoon worcestershire sauce
- 1 tablespoon mayonnaise
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon onion powder
- Kosher salt & fresh ground black pepper, to taste
- 2 tablespoons fresh chopped chives
Instructions
- In a large bowl, combine the cream cheese and sour cream. Stir the mixture until well combined and smooth.
- Add the room temperature caramelized onions, worcestershire sauce, mayonnaise, garlic powder, onion powder, and salt/pepper to taste, along with the chopped chives. Mix until evenly combined.
- Serve the caramelized onion dip immediately with thick potato chips or an assortment of veggies.
- Store any leftover dip in an airtight container in the refrigerator for 4-5 days.
Notes
Make sure the cream cheese is at room temperature for easy mixing.
This dip is great served with sturdy chips or fresh vegetable sticks for dipping.
You can adjust the seasoning by adding more garlic powder or chives to taste.
