Description

These Blueberry Muffin Cookies are bursting with flavor and made with simple ingredients like fresh blueberries and a touch of cinnamon. Ideal for a sweet treat, they are easy to prepare and perfect for any occasion.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 6 tbsp unsalted butter, melted
  • 1/4 cup brown sugar, packed
  • 1/4 cup white granulated sugar
  • 2/3 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 tsp ground cinnamon
  • 2 3/4 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 tsp baking powder
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1 cup unsalted butter, room temperature
  • 1 1/2 cups white granulated sugar
  • 1 tsp pure vanilla extract
  • 1 tsp honey
  • 2 large eggs, room temperature
  • 1 1/3 cups fresh blueberries
  • 4 tbsp blueberry jam

Instructions

  1. In a small bowl, mix together the brown sugar, white sugar, flour, and cinnamon. Stir in the melted butter, and refrigerate the mixture to set while you prepare the cookie dough.
  2. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  3. In a large bowl, cream together the room temperature butter and granulated sugar until fluffy. Add the eggs, vanilla, and honey, mixing well after each addition.
  4. Gradually add in the flour, baking powder, and salt, stirring until just combined. Do not overmix.
  5. Fold in the blueberries and the reserved mixture from the fridge, along with the blueberry jam until evenly distributed.
  6. Drop spoonfuls of the dough onto a parchment-lined baking sheet, spacing them apart.
  7. Bake for 15-20 minutes, or until the edges are lightly golden. Allow to cool on a wire rack.

Notes

You can substitute blueberries with other berries or chocolate chips for a different flavor.
For added flavor, consider adding lemon zest to the dough.
These cookies can be stored in an airtight container for up to a week.
