Description

This Banana Split Fluff Salad is a delightful treat bringing together creamy Cool Whip, sweet cherries, and bananas. Perfect for gatherings or a fun dessert, this fluffy dish is quick to prepare and rich in flavor, satisfying those with a sweet tooth!


Ingredients

  • 4 cups cool whip
  • 1 (21 oz) can cherry pie filling
  • 1 1/4 cup sweetened condensed milk
  • 1/2 cup sour cream
  • 2 cups mini-marshmallows
  • 1 3/4 cup pineapple chunks, drained
  • 2 bananas, peeled & sliced
  • 1 cup peanuts, chopped
  • 3/4 cup maraschino cherries, drained
  • 1/4 cup mini-chocolate chips
  • 12 tbsp chocolate syrup, optional

Instructions

  1. In a large bowl, combine Cool Whip, cherry pie filling, sweetened condensed milk, and sour cream until well mixed.
  2. Just before serving, gently mix in mini-marshmallows, drained pineapple, sliced bananas, chopped peanuts, drained maraschino cherries, and mini-chocolate chips.
  3. If desired, drizzle chocolate syrup on top before serving.

Notes

For a lighter version, use light Cool Whip and reduced-fat sour cream.
Feel free to add other fruits like strawberries or blueberries for extra flavor.
Make it in advance and refrigerate for a couple of hours to enhance the flavors.
