- 1 teaspoon baking powder

- 1½ cups apple cider
- 1 cup sugar
- 1/2 cup buttermilk
- 2 large eggs
- 2 tablespoons butter, melted
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract

- 1/4 cup sugar
- 1 teaspoon cinnamon
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350 degrees F.
- In a large bowl, mix together the flour, baking powder, baking soda, cinnamon, nutmeg, and salt until well combined.
- In another large bowl, whisk together the apple cider, sugar, buttermilk, melted butter, eggs, and vanilla until smooth. Pour this mixture into the flour mixture and stir until just combined.
- Spoon the donut batter into greased donut molds, filling each about 2/3 full.
- Bake for 7-9 minutes or until the edges are golden and the donuts spring back when touched.
- Once baked, let the donuts cool for 2 minutes, then carefully transfer them to a sheet tray.
- In a small bowl, mix the sugar and cinnamon together. Brush the tops of the donuts with melted butter, then dip them into the cinnamon-sugar blend.
- Serve the donuts warm or at room temperature.
