Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350 degrees and lightly spray a 9 x 13 pan with non-stick spray.
- Peel, core, and slice the apples into 8 pieces each.
- Beginning with the wide end, place an apple slice in each crescent roll triangle. Roll it up and wrap the narrow tip around to secure it. Arrange them in the prepared pan.
- Repeat the filling process for all 16 crescent roll triangles, placing them neatly in the pan.
- In a saucepan over low heat, mix together the butter, sugar, and cinnamon until combined.
- Evenly pour the butter mixture over the dumplings in the pan.
- Next, pour the Mountain Dew over the dumplings, ensuring they are well covered.
- Bake in the oven for about 40 minutes or until they turn golden brown.
