- 2 tablespoons light brown sugar
- 3/4 teaspoon smoked paprika
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 3/4 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
- 1 pound salmon, (4) 4-ounce filets
- 2 teaspoons spicy brown mustard
- 2 tablespoons parsley, chopped; for garnish
Instructions
- Preheat the air fryer to 400 degrees F.
- In a small bowl, mix together the brown sugar, smoked paprika, garlic powder, salt, and black pepper.
- Pat the salmon dry with a paper towel, then brush about 1/2 teaspoon of spicy brown mustard onto each filet.
- Sprinkle a quarter of the spice mixture over each salmon filet, then let them rest for about 10 minutes before cooking.
- Arrange the salmon in the preheated air fryer, ensuring each filet has about an inch of space around it. Cook in batches if necessary.
- Cook for 6-8 minutes, or until the internal temperature of the salmon reaches 135 degrees F.
- After cooking, remove the salmon from the air fryer and place them on a plate. Cover with aluminum foil while cooking any remaining filets.
- Garnish the salmon with chopped parsley and serve warm.
Notes
