Description

These Air Fryer Salmon Bites are packed with irresistible flavor and incredibly easy to make. Perfect for a quick dinner or a healthy snack, they feature fresh salmon coated with a savory blend of spices, making each bite delightful.


Ingredients

  • 1.5 pounds salmon fillets boneless, skinless, cut into bite-sized pieces
  • 1 Tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 Tablespoon cornstarch
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • ½ teaspoon freshly ground black pepper
  • ½ teaspoon garlic powder
  • ½ teaspoon smoked paprika
  • ½ teaspoon chili powder
  • 1 Tablespoon brown sugar
  • Chili crisp oil (optional) for drizzling
  • Toasted sesame seeds (optional) for garnish
  • Sliced green onion (optional) for garnish

Instructions

  1. In a large mixing bowl, add the salmon pieces and drizzle with olive oil. Toss to coat evenly.
  2. In a small bowl, mix cornstarch, salt, black pepper, garlic powder, smoked paprika, chili powder, and brown sugar. Sprinkle this seasoning over the salmon, then gently toss until evenly coated.
  3. Preheat the air fryer to 400°F (200°C).
  4. Arrange the salmon bites in a single layer in the air fryer basket, avoiding overcrowding. Cook in batches if needed.
  5. Air fry for 8-10 minutes, shaking the basket halfway through, until golden and cooked through.
  6. Remove the salmon bites from the air fryer and drizzle with chili crisp oil, if desired.
  7. Serve immediately, garnished with toasted sesame seeds and sliced green onions. Optionally, serve over rice.

Notes

Make sure to cut the salmon into uniform pieces for even cooking.
For a spicier kick, add more chili powder or your favorite hot sauce.
These bites are excellent fresh but can be reheated quickly in the air fryer.
