Description

These Air Fryer Apple Cider Donuts are simple to prepare and bursting with autumn flavors. Made from apple cider and flaky biscuits, they offer a delectable treat for anyone craving quick homemade desserts. Perfect for breakfast or as a sweet snack!

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1/2 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 tablespoon ground cinnamon
  • 16.3 ounce can flaky biscuits
  • 1 cup apple cider

Instructions

  1. Line a tray with parchment paper or set out a wire rack for the finished donuts.
  2. In a shallow bowl, whisk together granulated sugar and ground cinnamon. Set this mixture aside.
  3. Pour apple cider into a small saucepan and simmer over medium-high heat until it reduces slightly, enhancing the flavor. Set aside when done.
  4. Open the can of biscuit dough and separate the biscuits. Use a round cap to punch out the centers, creating donut shapes.
  5. Prepare your air fryer basket by lining it with a parchment round or spraying it with oil.
  6. Working in batches, add four donuts to the air fryer in a single layer, ensuring they aren't touching for even cooking.
  7. Air fry at 350°F for 3 minutes, flip, and air fry for another 3 minutes.
  8. Once cooked, transfer the donuts to the tray or wire rack and repeat with the remaining dough.
  9. While warm, brush each donut with the reduced apple cider, then toss them in the cinnamon sugar mix to coat.
  10. Serve immediately and enjoy the warm, flavorful donuts.

Notes

Store any leftovers in an airtight container to maintain freshness.
These donuts are best enjoyed warm but can be reheated in the air fryer if needed.
Feel free to customize the seasonal spices according to your preference.
