Description

These Acorn Donut Holes combine the sweetness of glazed donuts with rich chocolate and crunchy pretzels, making them a fun treat for any occasion. Quick to prepare and irresistibly delicious, this recipe will quickly become a favorite!

Ingredients

Scale
  • 20 glazed donut holes
  • ¾ cup chocolate chips
  • 1020 pretzel sticks
  • ¾ cup chocolate jimmies sprinkles

Instructions

  1. Snap long pretzel sticks in half to use only 10 if needed.
  2. Melt chocolate chips in a microwave-safe bowl in 30-second intervals, stirring until smooth.
  3. Pour chocolate jimmies sprinkles into a separate bowl and set aside.
  4. Dip the top of each donut hole into the melted chocolate, scraping off excess on the bowl's edge, then dip into sprinkles.
  5. Press a pretzel stick into the chocolate-covered tip of the donut hole for the acorn stem.
  6. Place each completed acorn donut hole on a parchment-lined tray and repeat for all holes.
  7. Refrigerate or freeze for 5 minutes to set the chocolate, or enjoy immediately.

Notes

For a sweeter touch, consider using colored sprinkles to match holidays or events.
These donut holes are best enjoyed fresh, but can be made ahead of time and stored in the refrigerator.
Feel free to substitute the chocolate with white chocolate for a different flavor.
