Description

This dish combines creamy scrambled eggs and savory smoked salmon, garnished with fresh chives. It’s a delightful meal for breakfast or brunch, showcasing simple yet delicious ingredients for a quick meal at home.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 tablespoon salted butter
  • 4 large eggs
  • 2 tablespoons milk or cream
  • Salt & pepper to taste
  • 2 ounces smoked salmon
  • chopped chives for garnish

Instructions

  • Melt the butter in a nonstick pan over medium heat.
  • In a bowl, whisk together eggs and milk (or cream). Season with salt and pepper. Add eggs to the pan with melted butter and softly scramble them, cooking slowly and gently.
  • Continue cooking while stirring occasionally until soft curds form, but the eggs aren't fully cooked through.
  • Add the smoked salmon and keep scrambling until the eggs are just set, moist, and soft. Sprinkle with chives and serve.

Notes

For a richer flavor, use cream instead of milk.
Make sure to cook the eggs on low heat for the best texture.
Serve immediately for maximum freshness.
