Description

These Rice Krispie Treats for Valentine are a delightful blend of buttery goodness and sweet marshmallows, topped with melted white chocolate. Perfect for sharing with loved ones!

Ingredients

Scale
  • 5 tablespoon butter unsalted
  • 12 ounce mini marshmallows
  • 7 cups rice krispies cereal
  • 5 ounce white chocolate melts melted
  • sprinkles optional

Instructions

  • Line a 9×13 baking pan with parchment paper and set aside.
  • In a large pot over medium-low heat, melt the butter, then add the marshmallows and lower the heat.
  • Stir constantly to prevent sticking until fully melted.
  • Remove from heat and pour in the Rice Krispies. Stir quickly until evenly coated.
  • Transfer the mixture to the pan and press down evenly (using butter or spray on your hands can help prevent sticking).
  • Cool in the fridge for about 10-15 minutes then cut into desired pieces.
  • Melt the white chocolate in a heat-safe bowl in the microwave or over a double boiler. Add food coloring gradually until desired color is achieved.
  • Allow to cool slightly before transferring to a piping bag; cut a small hole in the tip.
  • Drizzle over treats and add sprinkles if desired.

Notes

Using parchment paper helps remove the treats easily from the pan.
For a colorful treat, try using different colored sprinkles or food coloring in the melted chocolate.
Ensure the mixture is evenly pressed in the pan for consistent thickness.
