Description

No Bake Cookies are a delightful treat that brings together the rich taste of cocoa and creamy peanut butter in a quick, no-fuss recipe. Perfect for satisfying sweet cravings, these cookies are simple to make and will become a go-to for gatherings or an easy homemade dessert.


Ingredients

  • 2 cups sugar
  • 1/2 cup butter softened or cut into slices
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 1/4 cup cocoa powder
  • 1/8 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 cup peanut butter
  • 2 teaspoons vanilla extract
  • 3 cups quick cooking oats

Instructions

  1. Line a sheet pan with parchment paper and set aside.
  2. Gather all ingredients and measure them out, as the process moves quickly.
  3. In a large saucepan, combine the sugar, butter, milk, cocoa powder, and salt.
  4. Heat the saucepan over low heat, stirring frequently until the butter melts.
  5. Increase the heat to medium and bring the mixture to a boil, timing it for 1 minute to avoid overcooking.
  6. Remove from heat, and mix in the peanut butter and vanilla, followed by the oats.
  7. Scoop cookies onto the prepared sheet pan using a #40 size cookie scoop.
  8. Allow to cool completely, or refrigerate to speed up cooling, then store in an airtight container.

Notes

For extra flavor, add a pinch of cinnamon to the dry ingredients.
Make sure to time the boiling precisely for the perfect cookie texture.
These cookies can be stored for up to a week at room temperature.
