Description

This Lobster Tail in Irresistible Garlic Butter features succulent lobster with a rich garlic-butter sauce. It’s perfect for a quick, elegant dinner or a special occasion. Simple ingredients come together to create an unforgettable dish that will impress any seafood lover.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 tails lobster tails 4–6 oz each, thawed
  • 4 tbsp unsalted butter european-style for extra richness
  • 1 tsp garlic powder burn-resistant flavor
  • 0.5 tsp paprika for color
  • 0.5 tsp cajun seasoning low-sodium blend recommended
  • 2 wedges lemon warm before squeezing for maximum yield
  • 2 tbsp fresh parsley chopped finely for garnish

Instructions

  • Using kitchen shears, cut through the lobster tails' top shell lengthwise, stopping just before the tail fin. Pry the meat upward while keeping it attached at the base, and rest it on the split shell. Pat dry with paper towels.
  • Melt butter in a large skillet over medium heat. Whisk in garlic powder, paprika, and Cajun seasoning once the butter begins to foam.
  • Sear the lobster tails flesh-side down in the seasoned butter for 2 minutes, spooning the butter over the tops as they cook.
  • Flip the lobster tails to cook shell-side down for another 1–2 minutes until the meat is firm yet springs back.
  • Squeeze the lemon wedges over the lobster tails directly in the pan.
  • Garnish lobster with parsley and serve immediately, drizzled with the pan sauce.

Notes

For an extra layer of flavor, consider adding fresh minced garlic to the butter mixture.
Make sure to warm the lemon wedges for maximum juice extraction before squeezing.
Serve with a side of vegetables or a light salad for a complete meal.
