Ingredients

  • 4 large boneless skinless chicken breasts, about 6 ounces each
  • pinch salt and pepper
  • 3 tbsp butter
  • 6 cloves minced garlic
  • 1/3 cup honey
  • 2 tbsp whole grain dijon mustard
  • pinch salt and pepper

Instructions

  • Preheat the oven to 425°F and line an 8×8 inch baking pan with aluminum foil.
  • Melt the butter in a small pan over medium heat, add garlic and cook for 30 to 60 seconds until softened before stirring in honey and mustard. Simmer for 1-2 minutes until thickened.
  • Season the chicken breasts lightly with salt and pepper and place them in the heated baking pan.
  • Pour the hot glaze over the chicken and bake for 15 minutes.
  • Baste the chicken with the collected glaze and continue baking for another 15 to 20 minutes until the chicken reaches 170°F internally.
  • Let the chicken rest for 5 minutes before serving.
