Ingredients

  • 1 ½ tablespoons (12g) corn starch
  • 3 tablespoons (15g) cocoa powder
  • 2 cups (474ml) milk (whole, 2%, or nonfat)
  • ½ cup (85g) chocolate chips
  • 2 tablespoons (28g) butter , diced
  • ½ teaspoon vanilla

Instructions

  1. In a medium saucepan, whisk together granulated sugar, corn starch, and cocoa powder.
  2. Gradually add the milk to the dry ingredients, whisking to combine and remove lumps.
  3. Cook the mixture over medium heat, stirring constantly until it thickens and starts to bubble.
  4. Remove from heat and stir in the chocolate chips, diced butter, and vanilla until smooth.
  5. Pour the pudding into serving dishes and let it cool before refrigerating.
  6. Once chilled, serve and enjoy your homemade chocolate pudding.

Notes
