  • 4 chicken breasts – equal in size
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 2 tsp dried thyme – or italian seasoning
  • 2 tsp onion powder
  • 2 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp salt
  • ½ tsp ground black pepper
  • ½ tsp paprika

Instructions

  • In a large bowl, mix olive oil, dried thyme, onion powder, garlic powder, salt, black pepper, and paprika to create a seasoning mixture.
  • Dab the chicken breasts dry with a paper towel to help the spices adhere better. Brush the seasoning mix on both sides of the chicken.
  • Preheat the air fryer to 375℉ for 5 minutes. Arrange the chicken in a single layer in the fryer basket and cook for 10 minutes.
  • Flip the chicken and cook for an additional 10 minutes or until the internal temperature reaches 165℉, as read by a meat thermometer.
  • Remove the chicken and let it rest on a cutting board for a few minutes before slicing. This step ensures the chicken remains juicy and tender.

Notes

For even more flavor, marinate the chicken in the seasoning mixture for a few hours or overnight.
Make sure to use chicken breasts that are similar in size for even cooking.
